In an old interview, this band said they were using a rocktron preamp into boogie power amp

Would you say this is a rocktron piranha?

Boogie might be one of those old huge power amps of some sort

Yeah, almost certainly a Piranha. Big white text on the left (that's blowing out the camera), right-hand side input, no display like their other DSP-equipped gear, red face plate. Cool preamps, for sure. Kinda underrated these days. Very powerful EQ that can be kinda weird to set.

Yes I find it hard to tell between those 3 or 4 large boogie models. They all seem a similar size

The cost to retube those these days would be a lot!
