The MP-1 is definitely a killer sounding preamp especially if you know how to dial in the preamp.

If I hadn't purchased two of them as well as an MP-2 last year, then I would definitely be picking this one up

I'm surprised too. It's all packed up and ready to go, just needs a new owner. Got a bunch of folks watching it on Reverb (along with the Tubefex), but I've learned that the number of watcher don't mean much. If these don't get any takers here pretty soon, I'll drop the price a bit on Reverb and they'll go.
