Questions. Are the cables so short that I wouldn't be able to change a pedal real quick if I wanted to?

And why are the pedals so close together? I'd have to pull the pedal off the board just to pull out a cable, correct?

Why not make the board a couple inches wider and give it some space between the pedals for guys like me with size 13's?

And why are the rows so close together? I know I'd completely knock the phaser out of whack when I kick on the tremolo? There's a ton of space at the top of that board.

Seems like a terrible layout to me.

Honest questions man.

You realize the board is angled, correct? (as far as reaching the back row). These boards are done with the client's layout in mind. I wear size 14 shoes and have no problem clicking pedals that are right next to one another. You could have it laid out however you want, since you'd be paying for it.

The layout looks great to me.

My guess is that they are measured, fed to where they need to go, cut and then have the ends soldered...

HOWEVER, for form and Function, I still prefer Daves Work.

There's a reason Dave is one of the go-to guys for custom boards. Pretty sure he'd wire and arrange a board any way one could ask for. But something tells me he knows a thing or two about putting these together.

That said, how many do you guys do you have cranking out all this work with you? Theres got to be too much volume for one guy to handle..

Pauls work is very nice. Not sure of the cost though. it would be very expensive to do it that way and hard to change things. It sort of a Pete Cornish lite. Very nice guy great work.

Spot on Dave. Ive never seen his stuff in person but as incredible as it looks, I cant see trouble shooting being any fun....

Im a fan of your Trailer Trash style boards for sure. You have the ability to hide cables and make it look really clean but it also makes it easy to service... thats why I want you to do the power wiring for my board..
