Here is a board we did of Shawn. Order is Apocalypse,Organizer,Cobble Tone od[not pictured],Trex Crunchy Frog, Carbon Copy,DD-7,El Capistan and a RV-5. A old Strymon favorite switch was modded to be a boost footswitch for his amp. All pedals are in the loops of the Providence switcher and everything is mounted to the New Friedman pedalboard design. Enjoy

Very nice! I should have you update by board sometime soon.

Shaun White the Olympic Snowboarder?

So these boards (the actual board) are your design Dave?

That is my question as well. Will they be available for sale by themselves?

Yes the Boards will be available shortly for sale. Yes my design. Yes Shaun White the snowboarder.

Question.
Why build a tiered pedalboard when all the pedals are controlled with a switcher?
Seems strange.

Well for one he has to get to the boss ddl for tap and also the boost switch. It also makes the board smaller because the power supplies are under it. Oh and not to mention the tier is the interface for the AC and audio cables. Plus not to mention it keeps it real clean looking. Cables hidden and such.

I guess you still prefer soldered plugs vs the non-soldered "low profile" designs. I've been putting off my current build because I keep going back back and forth on this.

I really like the tiered design!!!
Are the providence switchers readily available?

Ok. Makes sense.
I'm just used to seeing angled Pedaltrains with everything tucked underneath.

Very compact. I like it. If there is a case for it, I'd be curious to see pics.

I like it.. problem with the one tier boards that lay flat is that the pedals on the top end were less accessible because of the need to tip toe or tap dance around the ones on the bottom. If your heel hits something and switches it off , you are screwed. Pedaltrains are good for that reason but you can't make them look as tidy like..

Very cool Dave- just curious though... is there something about the Trailer Trash design you were using for a while that you're moving away from?

Same here. These details make my head spin...

Yes I never will trust a solder-less plug. Just to much to troubleshoot on a gig if something goes wrong. Could be anywhere.

Trailer Trash is a nice design and we still use them for some things. I just set out to make a bullet proof pro board that's all.
