Rad NGD: Pickup cosmetics... What say you?

Just got this beast the other day and am really digging it.
It's a restored 90's Charvel with a custom Bengal Burst paint job and a German Floyd.

I'll be getting some new pickups for it soon. I'm thinking Nickel would look great in this guitar. But Black Bobbins look cool also.
Other suggestions welcome.

I would put nickel and rotate the neck pickup 180* (so the screws are towards the bridge).

That's an 80's Charvel - not sure what model though. Don't recall a 2 hum dinky..

I'm thinking parts mutt. The body looks like a 3xx "toothpaste" series body (the short horns kinda give it away), but the neck is obviously an 80's Model series. I'm guessing the neck hum is probably not original, and there might be a filled middle single coil. They didn't have a 2-hum in the series other than the Fusion, but that's not a short-scale axe, and there's no relief cutaway on the lower horn.

You mentioned Nickel, I would personally leave them black but if you wanted to try have them build a nickel set and if you didn't like them you could always remove the covers and have black.
