Dude, I got mine ( used) for a ridiculously low price. Mercedes resale value isn't shit. I think people are afraid of having to work on them. Well, really having to pay someone to work on them.

Whatever it does, when it goes out it will disable your ESP system and put your shit in limp mode.

Manufacturers have ditched throttle cables in leu of a potentiometer that sends an electrical signal to the throttle body.
Just like in a guitar.

Harley has gone to that too. I let the battery get too low on my softtail and finally got enough charge to start it....but it wouldn't rev until it got more charge, about 5 minutes of idling. Sux
