The internetz tell me RANDALL amplification is making a comeback. So question is, Synergy space has dried up. No way they would go back into that with their modular designs. Would they go back to baking those modules into an amp like they did for the Lynch Mod v.2 50 and 100 watters with the Judge channel and Super V built in? Or would they do the SATAN high gain thing and reissue their solid state high gainers?

I hope they bring back the Satan.(even if rebranded) I thought it was the best sounding modern metal amp.(no OD pedal needed.)

What up Kapo!

Yes, I'm thinking baked in amps, teh last time we saw them they had a George Lynch hard wired head (as opposed to modules)

I'm guessing lots of Dime stuff stuff, maybe Satan. A Judge type am,p would be cool but please not the Super V, that module sucked

I think they could improve on the SuperV bit yes a judge amp with a few more options would be like a budget BE Friedman and have more teeth

I need to hunt down a Brahma module. The JF Brahma was my #1 tone for years until I moved on from the heavy as F MTS 100 watt head. The Brahma was the last MTS piece of gear that I sold, and the Synergy line didn't exist yet. Should have kept that one.

Yeah I love my brahma. Never selling it. I think they could put that into a head with an SL+ for "lead" channel and release that as a hot rodded marshall.

I remember this guy, had a few really good clips of the Randall stuff and actually that RM22 sounds as good as any other more modern EL84 driven amp.. I wish I had not sold my Hilligan modded SL+. Had what he called the AFD mod and it sounded fantastic. That's the one for me that got away.

I hope you are correct that they come back, not gonna hold my breath though. I was playing my thrasher 120 last night thru my warhead cabs, 4x12 and 2x15 full stack with a overdrive on the front end and was sounding like you hear on certain metal albums. The high end and low having that hetfield or dime like quality/ wall of sound!

I really want a Randall T2 and V2 for some reason!

Hopefully whatever they do will be more reliable!

Maybe a Century 200II again? Here's hoping hahaha

They should make a stereo head that can accept 4 of those Synergy modules, with in module channel switching capabilities. You could build a dream 8 channel cover band rig.

I had slightly longer post typed out, but it didn't go through and it deleted. Super short version, the zero watt poweramp modules are louder. If anyone cares, I can recreate the longer version.

I’d like to see the old RG100, re-release of the Satan, and would really like to see them release a solid state power amp that goes with modelers…something similar to the Matrix power amp stuff.

Bring it

Currently have the Marshall JMP, JCM800, and Imperial Tone King modules with the zero watt power amps. The SLOII and 6505 are my current other modules. With the SLO and 6505's, the module volume at 2:00 is about equal in volume with the zero watt modules on 10:00. They are just seem to be louder. The zero watt modules have a bit more of something in them as well. Could just be my perception though because I have the SLO and 6505's set to kill and the others to be more like vintage Marshall's. The SLO is still my #1, but the zero watt modules are great and I am looking forward to see where Synergy goes with that tech.

Unless they build an actual 1:1 Randall RG100ES amp with a real Class A/B S/S mosfet output section with full sized transformers like the original amps that sound as good or better than the originals then most won't be interested.:dunno:

I mean, Mesa did recreate a MKIIC+ that they said couldn't be done...
