Favorites and worst ones you have tried I have some interest in the Rg100 (ofcourse) the RH100 the Rt100 the and the Vmax 100? Has anyone tried Ola's Head I did not like any of the Hammet or Scott Ian signature stuff personally but I didn't spend alot of time with them. Reason I am asking was blown away by a random one in a pawn shop sold the next day no Idea what it was and I think it was tubed but not sure anyway got me thinking so let me know what you guys think.

If I had the cash, I'd get a RM100 and some modified modules. Kinda scary what modders can make those stock MTS modules into. The RM100 gets +100000 points for allowing you to rebias for almost any tube you can cram in a guitar amp.

I love my RM80 combo and RM100 head. I also have Jaded Faith and Friedman modules....aftermarket modules make the difference to my ears.

also, Rob at Jaded Faith installed a few sweepable mid range posts which really opened up things!

I had an RM100 and some of the best mods you can get. It did not sound bad when I was working. It was the most unreliable amp I've ever owned. It was also very noisy. The design seems pretty cool on paper, in practice...not so much.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Still have 2 of them and probably 30 modules from an HBE to the Fisch and everything in between.

Are people still making modules for the Randall/Egnater stuff? I've always wanted to try out the RM100.

I don't think Randall is making modules any longer. As I heard it, modders like Salvation Mods and Jaded Faith bought up a bunch of Randall's unsold module stock?

FYI: There is an Egnater MOD100 with 6 modules for sale in the classifieds section :)

The Randall c-200 and the X2 are the best for dimebag tone. I have 2 stacks of warhead cabs that crush with any heads on top, but with the X2 heads it's like dime is still alive and drunk in the room.

But the warheads with the graphic suck IMO.

Do you have the 4x12s or the 2x15s? I've always wanted to try out one of the 15 loaded cabs.

I currently have a mid 80's RG100ES and the blue rackmount '88 RG100HT. The one rg100es has been part of my rig for almost a decade now, so l would call them my workhorse amps. They might not have the thickest tone, or the most organic tone, but they have a certain immediate, bouncy feel, and a cutting grind to them (works great live) that I can't get with anything else. So i have never parted with them, but I have gone through countless tube amps over the years.

I had a Warhead about 5 years ago. Now that thing i could not get a good sound out of. Just thin sounding... and for 300 watts it couldn't touch my RG's, which are 120 watts, hmm maybe there was something wrong with mine or maybe I just didn't give it enough time to dial in? I've heard the X2 Warhead is another beast altogether, and sounds awesome... I want one of those.

I had one of these. Had a blast adding switched, pulling caps / resistors and tweaking. Had the RM50 power amp as well.

I have two full stacks. Two 4x12s and two 2x15s. Ultralead and Herbert were amazing together thru these cabs.

RG100ES too. Dime used them on Cowboys and Trendkill. Here's his rack from the CFH era, three RG100HT heads:

I've got one of these. My dean ML with the l-500xl and the furman pq3 in front with the right settings i can cop Dimebag's live tone easily. Badass little amp.
