Second tryout for a band. Other guitar player has a full stack jvm and a Paul. My v30 4x12 and Randall Davilo destroyed it! He finally says god damn that amp sounds great! Cut like a bitch and was still big and powerful! It was a great night!

I have an RD50 combo, and scary to say, it's probably the best sounding amp (to my ears) I've owned.
Hooked up to a 4x12, it is monstrous, and on its own, it's just a great little combo.
It reminds me of a Mesa mk series in size and ability to peel the paint off the walls.

Ya its a special amp! The 100 watter doesn't have the same vibe. The gain channel without the boost is way to loose for me but with it engaged wow!

Yeah I wouldn't have even tried out for that one lol! Heck I pretty much refuse to join someone else's band anymore. I'm too old and really only want to play one style in a live setting, and a single 2 hour set max! I've haad my "own" band for the past 2 years, and while it takes forever to get material out, (we all have families, jobs, and such) I don't have to play a single song that I hate. The only downside is that I have to pay for everything like logos, recording, gas, etc.

I was pleasantly suprised when looking at their set lists. 70, 80, 90, current stuff and very open to playing songs that I can actually sing and that fit the vibe!

Are there any good clips of this amp out there? I've been looking at that combo version of this. I want something with a clean and that can do good 70s and 80s hard rock tones along with modern gain tones. I know the Mesa Rectoverb 25 fits the bill but this is half the price.

Well if you like their set list, and you like the members.................... I guess still try to see if they are set on the name, but in the end it's hard to find good peeps that you jive with. I still wouldn't do it because of the name, but I don't want to play popular cover tunes either. I can have 3-5 musicians at my house that are all really good players just about any weekend, or even weeknight for that matter, with a few quick calls. I live in a quiet, fairly nice neighborhood, and all of my neighbors are coold with us playing loud as heck. I promise you that no one is allowed to play Mustang Sally, Gimme 3 Steps, or Suzie Q either!!!! They would receive an instant perma ban from ever participating again! Having this option is what enabled me to hold out for my own band where am was the leader for a change. It also makes me kinda lazy, because I can play whenever I want, and should be writing friggin' lyrics instead for our next 3 songs! STILL, you should do what's good for you hehe! I'm clear as mud aren't I lol!?!??

nope it was for the other poster looking for clips since he couldn't find any! Knut and I only have our apple clips!
