Randall DH 100

Thoughts on the Randall DH 100 head? You can pick them up at a good used price. I haven't had much luck with Randall's build quality in the past. Just wondering if they have gotten better the last couple years? Anyone with theDH100 actively gigging with one?

Big Randall fan here.. never heard of a DH100 head. Do you mean RH100?

Nearly got a RH100 but didn't get the chance to play it in person first,
I've got a soft spot for randall stuff too, Just got a RG1003 and I think it is an awesome amp!

I had a Diavlo 100 and a 45. The 100 was sterile/generic sounding while the 45 was much better and more 3D, if you will.

Both bloodrock and I have a bunch of Randall stuff. Well,I do...but some of it's at his place. And storage. We are the unhappy fans of Randall amps.

I saw this thread when you started it,but couldn't figure out what amp you were asking about. The only amps I still dig from Randall are the C200 and the X2. I didn't dig the thrasher. I did kinda want to try a 667,since I liked the first meathead. But IMO the thrasher wasn't the natas,so why bother?

Plus,there are so many better built amps out there now. Why buy cheap Chinese stuff that IMO is overpriced and has a poor maintenance record? Buy the real thing from Fortin. Again,just my opinion.

Yes I mean the Diavlo. I got it and sent it back. The blue channel was the only channel I cared for and when I got the gain where I wanted it it maid a strange sound even with a noise gate. I then got the Thrasher and matching cab. It sounded horrible. I switched over to my evh 4 x 12 and the Thrasher sounded pretty decent. I didn't care for the effects loop so I sent it back also. It's to bad I didn't get along with them.Close but not impressed enough to keep.

After being on the fence about getting the Diavlo I'm glad I didn't pull the trigger on it. I planned to get the 100 watt, but saw many reviews about the strange mid properties and just overall cheap sound to it. I've heard the 45 watt is much better.
I was also curious about the thrasher and the satan but I just don't think the new randall tube stuff is for me
