Hey guys,

I know there's some MTS users here...I am simply LOVING my current setup which includes 16 modded modules and more to come...There is nothing better in a studio environment than MTS...Anywho, if you have been outta the loop for awhile I thought I'd throw these links up to show you how cool things are getting with MTS...And no, I don't work for Randall or Egnater...Just a guy who loves tone...Here's a couple demos of the new Jaded Faith modules which I am quite fond of...

ERECT module - based off '98 Recto




Stein Module - based off Krankenstein amps




Mark X Module - based off Crunch/MarkIV/Extreme modes on a Mesa Mark V....




Voxless Module - A combo of a Vox AC30 and Matchless DC30...Very unique and awesome...

sounds good, i've only tried a randall MTS 50 head, with i think the plexi and some other modules, was pretty impressed with the tones especially the mid gainy ones and hi gain, a great concept in any case

like the humour in the vid too
 
Yeah Rob has really come along way with his mods. Sounds cool
 
From a RM100 & RM50 user of 5 years it sounds pretty killer. The MTS line is really cool
 
Yep, it's an awesome concept that Randall seems to have basically ignored for the past few years. We're lucky that guys like Rob are still making new and better modules to use...He really has stepped up his game and he's hit some home runs already!

Didn't know the Figmesiter was even reg'd on here....some killer demos, the Voxless is inspiring to me, got me gas'ing again. :D
 
My go to modules are a JF Brahma and Jf Mr. Scary. They were modded mid 2009 and Rob said that there are some updates that I would like so I sent them off today. I am left with a KH1, stock SL+, and a Sacred Groove Fisch. I can live with that till next week.

Hey JKD! Yep, more of a lurker here but chime in here and there...And man, both that Voxless and Mark X smoke! I just got an updated Stein too that will be featured on the next video coming later in the week...For those unfamiliar, the Stein is a Jaded Faith module based off Krankenstein amps and has a sweepable mid pot...Very cool....Very quiet....VERY HEAVY....
 
Big MTS fan here myself. I need to check out some modded modules, but for me, so far the GTO The Judge module is doing everything I want to hear in a modded Marshall type sound. I was just tracking with it last night.

Thanks for the love guys! It's been a great 3 years doing this work and there are some great mods available now. I have a website overhaul coming shortly along with more demos and clips, so stay tuned.
 
Very cool to see the MTS folks on here.


Rob is an absolute genius. His mods are spectacular. I am currently running a Sacred Groove SL+ (Killer for the 80's thrashy Marshall tones), Jaded Faith Mark X (Can't say enough good things about this module) and a Jaded Faith Erect (may just be the best Recto tone I have ever owned).

I am using a RM100 right now, but plan to go back to the RM50...they just sound better to me. I owned a RM50 and a MOD 50 at the same time a while back and thought the RM50 sounded just as good....couldn't run 2 channel modules though.


Digging the MTS stuff enough that my Cameron and Axe Fx haven't been played in quite some time....though I have no intention of moving either of them :gethim:

If I could get my Axe Fx to play nicely with my MTS gear, it would be perfect, but that just isn't in the cards. It hasn't liked the 4cm with any of the MTS gear I have owned...or Mark Mesa's.


OK...back on topic. Rob is a GENIUS! :rock:

Oh man...If the GTO does it for you than you HAVE to check out some modded modules... ;)

I need to check out The Judge module. Big fan of modded modules, but the Lynch modules are pretty dam,n good right out of the box.
 
Chubtone hooked me up with one of the Judge modules as well... I also dig it. I've had a chance to put it through it's paces for a few weeks now and it has a sweet spot he is totally right. If i could add one thing, it might be a tad more high-end when at lower treble settings but it is a VERY nice module and feels great to play. Has that roundness to the tone which lends itself perfectly for lead playing with a boost. I personally think the moders need to get their hands on modules so that we don't have to send ours in etc.. but maybe I am just dreaming.
 
Hey did they ever come out with the RM22? I like the 20, but the single slot kinda kills it for me.

Yes, not sure on availability but there is an RM22HB...eBay dealer has them at $899 which seems over-priced to me, thought they were $699.

Yep, Krankenstein-based....And the best one out there...The revisions have left a very high gain module virtually silent and sooooooo awesome....I can't wait to post the vid.....I think Rob is gonna be even busier....This thing is THE SHIT!!!!
