Randall Nuno vs Friedman Steve Stevens

Somehow the OD channel of the Randall reminds me on the Friedman SS. It has also some tight attack and the gain structure is similar, dont you think?

You cant go wrong with a Friedman amp. The Nuno amp is nice but I have noticed running it for a night in the studio it gets real spongy and looses its attack. Just my view

they are nothing alike

the nuno is pretty stiff.

sounds like a boosted jcm 800.

which is what nuno likes

jcm800 boosted with a rat.

ss100 does not sound like that.
