Dug it! Nice to see someone who does leads and a style more in the vein of rock / cock rock rather than the brootz for a change. Sounds like the gain at that setting is more than enough for what I'd use it for. Do you have any Marshalls to compare it to? How would you describe it?

I have a modded Marshall Haze 15 head that I converted to 2203 specs. I've owned a 2203, DSL and JVM210...sold em all lol..

compared, its tighter for sure... with the boost engaged that is. Without the boost its not as tight, like the flubbyness of a marshall.. but not the squishy tone that a marshall gives.. maybe due to the 6l6's vs the el34's .. I'd like to try it with EL34's to see what they add to it.

Overall, I like it so far, better than the 5153 50 watt... not as compressed. obviously the gain is higher.. cleans are actually pretty good imo

just got a chance to crank it.. the video above sucks moose cock compared to what I just heard.. Got the power section going.. Really nice rich gain on this amp.. very very impressed with it. I know the honeymoon phase.. but compared to the amps that I have had and they were much more in terms of price to this RD45.. I cant get over the tone overall. If this is anything to be a precursor to Mike's main line of amps..

His Fortin models must be insane..

Loving this amp right now.. Played a 5153 50 watt and IMO this amp sounds better overall. Just my opinion.

So more open /raw than a 5153 and not as compressed. So this amp held it's own against the famed blue channel of the 5153 then I take it. Interesting!
