Has anyone ever played or compared a mid 80's early 90's made in california RG100ES to the RG100 RG100 Classic that were produced in Illinois after the sale of Randall sometime in 1995? They had the inputs jacks on the left side of the head versus the right side the original Randall's had them on. Did they still sound like the original RG100ES or did they change them from the original circuit?

I'd imagine they sound quite different. Even the later California-made RG80/100ES amps didn't sound as good as early ones.
