I've had a little bit of time to play with the modules. Here is my take on them so far.
Friedman SLO:
Sounded good but not great. Maybe I had my expectations too high. I much prefer his HBE or Jim's BE to this. I directly compared it to the Egnater EG5 and I'd take the EG5 hands down. I'd really like to try Pete's SLO again. Pete's SLO really impressed me though it was a touch noisy.
Pete's Mark Module:
Now you're talkin'!!!

Very nice. We haven't had the "Mesa" flavor like this in a module till now and I am impressed. I was able to dial this to be almost identical to the Lead 2 Yellow mode of my Triaxis.
VooDoo Amps Jose mod:
I seem to like this more than Jim. I don't think it would make a good metal rhythm module because it is a little mushy but for pure shredding stuff it is pretty decent. Plenty of gain on tap. It is most similar to my Egnater MHG but doesn't have the "liveliness" of the MHG.
Pete XTC:
Sorry, I'm just not feeling this one. I know Pete said this mod versus his new one are totally different and I'd like to try the new one. This doesn't sound like any Ecstacy I ever played. Not bad, but not what I was expecting.
Pete Recto:
Pretty badass. I really dig the push/pull knob. It gives you two distinct tones. I'm not sure what it does but one mode seems mellower and the other is very aggressive. This is similar to my modded Egnater ERect. My ERect was modded by Jeff to have tighter low end. Pete's has a little bit more gain and is slightly more aggresive in the midrange. I like this a lot.
I won't be able to do clips tonight or tomorrow since I have to work a 15 hour shift tomorrow thanks to the stupid G20 coming to Pittsburgh last week and screwing up everybody's schedule. Maybe Tuesday I'll be able to record something and then I'll get these back to Dan.
