I know this isn't the Randall forum
but if I'm not mistaken, didn't Bruce design the RT 2/50?
Anyhow, I know a lot of you guys are either current or former RT2/50 owners, so I'm hoping you can help me avoid a trip to the service center.
At a gig this weekend I fired up my rig (Egnater M4 ---> Randall RT2/50 ---> 2 X 12 cab) and had neglected to connect the speaker.
Channel 1 is now dead silent, no hum, no noise, nothin'! The Channel 1 light illuminates, and the power tubes are getting voltage - at least they're getting hot. I tried the replacing the Channel 1 tubes but it made no difference.
Channel 2 works perfectly, and the Channel Select button appears to work as intended, rotarying through 1, 2, and mute.
Can you guys think of anything I can check, or do, before taking it to a tech?
