I met her around 1990 at Musonia. I had called her years earlier just to tell her how big of fan I was of Randy and we talked for a few minutes about him, she was very sweet but you could tell she was a very strong woman (she would have to be, to raise her children on her own and run that school). I flew down in 1990 to hang with my friend that was attending USC, and decided to to call and ask if I could come visit Musonia, and Delores said "Sure, come on down".

The school is tiny and they had Randy's Peavey sitting there which was so cool and I got to roam around for a bit. I didn't stick around for very long and I didn't really have any questions for her, but she was super accommodating. She actually reminded me of my grandmother, her smile was the type that made you want to smile and even though she was tiny she had strength.
