I’m doing an Ozzy tribute show at a local pub next weekend, and been going back to do some proper wood shedding on the Rhoads era tunes I skimmed through in high school (some Sabbath & Jake songs as well)

What a badass, to be that young & bring so much to the table. Felt like an appropriate time to make this, of course I had to put the RR distortion+ to work. Took a bit of finesse to get a tone I really liked with it, but I think the saturated lead tone does it.

If you have RR clips, please share them!

Nicely done! Rhoads was my greatest influence. He was an incredible talent!

Still one of my biggest influences! I can say with total confidence he had plenty left in him and would have been persuaded to do at least one more classic album with Ozzy before diving into his classical pursuits.

Hard to believe how productive that short 2 year run with Ozzy was, the most impressive ever. They started recording Blizzard in March 1980 and Randy passed in March 1982.

Randy was my first guitar hero. Still remember the day I heard he passed....like it was yesterday.

Cool project, enjoy!

Great job. This gets added to my saved videos.(y) Is that just the built in IRs on the Suhr unit?

Yes, I usually like the greenback one only with that amp, but for this the v30 one also worked quite well.
