Hey guys. I made this backing track for Mark Day and thought I would give it a turn. I wanted to hurry and get my version up before he kills my take.

I used both my Anderson Drop Top (rhythm on right) and Classic (rhythm on left). The Classic has an SC3 in the bridge (yes, a single coil). It was the only one I could go drop D with   . I did use my Suhr Koko Boost on the Classic but nothing on the Drop Top. The solo was done with the Drop Top. I know the solo isn't note for note, sue me.

No video this time.

80's hard rock/heavy metal with singles coils and a boost? Why not

Sounds very articulate

Very cool! The solo tone is spot-on! I half expected to hear Stephen come in on the quiet part before the solo!

Only negative: Backing drums are too loud, IMHO.

Sounds very cool!!! I have been going nuts this last week. We put our house on the market and we've been doing a lot of preparing for that. Plus I am getting ready to go to LA for the amp show, leaving tomorrow. I should have some time to do this next week when I get back. I really appreciate you taking the time to build this awesome backing track. I know it must have taken a lot of time and effort!!!

Thanks Ivan! Can you believe it? Tom makes some great single coils. I am super surprised that they can cover so much ground.

Thanks! I don't know the solo note for note but it is a fun one to play. I thought the drums sounded okay in the mix. I think the rhythm guitars should come up a little.

Thanks Mark! Honestly, I wanted to get my version out before yours. You own this tune! Looking forward to hearing you play over it. It was no problem. Sorry it took so long to get it to you.

THAT is what I am talking about, damn Chad I can tell you have found your gear and are digging in hard chops wise!

Sounds awesome.

Very cool...great tune no matter how much we dinosaurs over play it :D

Any chance that I can get a copy of the backing track?

Seriously some great work here. The backing track alone is impressive!

LOL....that sounded like the speed metal version of Lay it Down. Great job brudda!

nice job dude, i actually like what you came up with in the solo. sounded cool! nothing wrong with SC's in metal/hard rock either, shows you have some balls to go for it and make em work.
