Anybody have them where you live? Just curious. I'm on a 4x4 forum and someone posted a pic of a rattler. If I moved down south, I was trying to think of ways to deter snakes. I guess none of the gadgets work. Fucking hate snakes, wish I could kill them all with the push of a button. And you tree huggers, before you start, the world will adapt just fine without them. F snakes. Another one of Gods wonderful inventions. Just like mosquitos. Another one of the lords gems.

Not many but there’s some around. More copperheads and cotton mouths around here. I relocate them when they get too close to my house. I don’t kill them.

Yeah we get them in the summer.

I killed one with an 8 iron when I was 12. I was lucky I didn't get bit.

There's a couple rattlesnake species here; timber, western pygmy & eastern diamondback. We have copperheads, cottonmouths, and coral snakes as well. It's not like Australia where you go to take a shit and there's a venomous snake waiting in the toilet to bite you on the ass. Unless you have a bunch of woods around your house or are hiking or something in their habitat they're not a problem.

"What are all these MF snakes doin' in my MF yard!?"
We supposedly have rattlers in Indiana but I've never seen one. Garter snakes is about it.

My bro down the road has had a bunch of them on his property. I've never seen one on mine. I've had tan racers, rat snakes, some large garters, and seen one or two good size coral snakes that someone's truck tires took care of.

They do sell snake repellent but that's for rich people.

We have copperheads and small population of Eastern Diamondbacks in my state. I have seen quite a few Copperheads and water snakes while deer & turkey hunting, and luckily I do not hunt or hike where there is a known population of rattlers.
Lots of Black racers, ringnecks, hognose, rat snakes, DeKayes brown and other harmless guys (garter, ribbon) around my house too.
Almost stepped on a 5' rat snake while hunting last year
