I bought my Furman PQ3 (Blackface) off of eBay on May 4, 2004, and it was delivered to me not working so I put it way in a closet.
So comes along many gear whoring days and nights, it sat in the closest in the same packaging I received it in.

I'm using a 5150 combo and there are a few things I don't like about. I bought new power tubes so it could run hotter, bought a few pre amp tubes and was looking to get a BBE in the mean time because I want to have the amp modded by Jerry so I can be completely happy. I'm happy as shit right now with my tone as far as the amp can take me stock.
I just got back from radioshack with an on off switch for the Furman PQ3 (Blackface) I bought just a little over 6 years ago that I have never used; and installed it. It went flawless and I put the Furman PQ3 (Blackface) in the loop of my 5150 combo.
WTF?!
Fate? I don't know what to call it, but the Furman PQ3 (Blackface) just kicked it up a notch! I've ran a BBE 482i (the double one) in the loop and in the front of the combo for awhile but it colored the tone too much and in the end I felt made the amp sound like shit. This Furman PQ3 (Blackface) is very transparent and VERY affective! I love the way I can shape and EQ's! FUCKING SICK!
I think Jesus would approve of this tone!
I've just begun to mess with this thing, but damn! I can see why people like this unit.
I still suck at guitar very badly so I'll make some clips when I get another band in here. You guy's are not gonna believe your fucking ears!!!!
I sooooo need anther one for shits and giggles!
