Well our band is getting ready to start the official tracking of the full length album and I just put my summer tour rig together last night. Was worth staying up until 2am that is for sure. Here are some pics of the front of the rig.

Have some wire tiddy work to do in the rear and then I will take pics of that and post. Going out of town tonight though so I won't get the rig complete until next week some time. She is all wired and plays though so that is good enough for me right now.

That looks lean, mean, and ready for action Kevin!

nice roadcase!

Now that is a real gigging touring setup! All killer, no filler.

Wow, that's one bad ass looking rig..........bet it sounds ok too......!!

Rock it

 I need a rack like that for the new rig I'm gonna build with the Mod100 :D

Been asked why I have two Switching units in there. They are programmed the exact same so if one fails I merely move six wires up to the spare and I am back in business. Carry a spare midi pedal, midi cables, tubes and fuses, speaker cables the whole works.

When your trying to do your best you can't afford to have gear stop you so I can get bak into business pretty quick. Even carry an amp modeler so I can go direct into the board,(with crap tone comapred to the eggie), but I will finish the show.

That or I get my Randall head back from my son and take that to the really big outdoor festivals we play. Can't use modeling at the big shows after playing the Eggie.

I keep it lean and mean. A tuner, the Rocktron Multivalve for effects and let the Eggie eat all the rest for tone. We do European power metal so getting to effect crazy really isn't needed. Then I play this entire rig through a full Randall stack. Sounds pretty killer now that the Eggie is being used. Hands down the best sounding amp I have ever owned.

Got this wicked new custom built guitar from a guy right here in my home town of Peoria, Illinois. He will build whatever you want and I chose this model called "Exodus". Got to pick the color, hardware, pickups and the works. Mine has a Paf Pro in the neck and a Super Distortion in the bridge. Mahogany body with a Maple neck and fret board. I call her my sexy beast !!!!! :D :D ;)

Thing plays and sounds like a dream. If your interested in one look him up at http://www.myspace.com/overtureguitars You will love these instruments he hand builds. Can't get quality like this from a big chain guitar store.

I am thinking of hosting one of those at the recording studio sometime in August. We are working on our full length album recording now and have a big 4 day festival to go play the week after the B's bar and Grill show.

So it is going to be until around August before I can be free enough time wise to host this thing. It will be fun because we can actually lay down some sample tracks and take CD's of what other gear is sounding like if people so care to hear how their stuff translates to CD.

Lot is possible with this one so be looking forward to that in early August. I know that is a couple months away but time wise it is the best I can do for now.
