Really cool rig rundown: Matt Pike

I don't think most of you are into doom like me, but regardless, I think you will enjoy it.

Really cool rig, four or five amps, ALL ON. Sweet lo-fi fuzzes, all switched by Matt, no fancy switchers or anything midi. Bare bones no frills rig. I would love to see them sometime.

Matt seems like such a cool dude.

I listen to dopesmoker as I fall asleep. Soothing.

Every time I see Matt Pike on a video or read an article he seems so cool, just like a down to earth, chill kind of guy

Soldano SLO, Kerry King JCM800, etc. are for High on Fire. This video is during a Sleep tour. He used to play Matamps so the Orange rig makes sense.

I was thinking that same thing. First time I have seen him with a shirt.

I also love Electric Mistress.

Doom doesn't get the attention that it deserves.

Looks like the drummer, Des Kinsel just quit High On Fire the other day, which is pants.

I’ve seen Sleep a couple of times. The drummer for them sounds really good live.
