What a killer video and good tune

Love the thick tones they get

I like to watch the odd Behemoth video with the volume on zero - sometimes there are some attractive betties in the vids. Other than that, can't handle them. The lead singer of Behemoth goes out with some Polish model who's quite stunning... Other than that, they lost me at the very first cookie monster vocal :aww:

ov fire and void is one of my most favourite songs, crank that shit up

always loved the girl in that video - i did alot of research at one point to try and figure out who she is - but alas no credits were given for her or the angel's part in the music video. the way its explained they basically asked a friend to play a part.

read in one place the girl was one of the guy's in the band's girlfriend or something - how true this is i dont know - but to be honest i wish i could figure out her name :aww:

On the CF live vid and on Montheist in General I just love the thick but rich tone he gets. It's got a lot of give but it's not mush either. For all I know he runs a pedal into a mixer or even worse a Dual Rec   but it's one of my favorite new metal era heavy sounds. It puts the Black in Black Sabbath.

Admittedly I don't like a lot of Behemoth's other stuff but that song in particular is a great blend of tempo and vocal delivery. I dig the rough, somewhat Cookie monster voice if it has some space and phrasing which in a lot of the faster stuff it just turns into puke. FWIW I really dig Napalm D but I like what he has to say so it helps and musically they're really a cut above.

P.S Love the darkness in the vid and that chick is super fine

Ola - Aleksandra Hamkało

Aleksandra Hamkało and Ola Hamkało seem to net better results than the entire name. You can also do Aleksandra Hamkalo for the English equivalent.

sorry couldnt get past the demon lord costumes and me want cookies vocal,( no offense) but the guitar tone was good

Beat me to it!

What a terrible song that was for such a cool band. Major bad decision they made back then.

As far as Behemoth goes, they are killer. I have seen them a few times live and they slay every time.

Celtic frost were pioneers of heavy music

Not sure they were pioneers of "Heavy Music" with this snazzy tune.

Yep was gunna post that ill famed video, but there are other bands more guilty of the same, and you can still definitely hear Celtic Frost in the pacing. For Tryptikon and Celtic Frost the scales and time they use are still weird to me. Dissonant and heavy, and genuinely emotionally unsettling.

Behemoth is one of my favorite bands, and I would love to have those guitar tones, EMGs and all, but Ive seen the Uberschall, and I didnt get them. I know a host of Behemoth songs on my 6 string, and then I realize that they use 7 strings, and I cant figure out how. Some of the power chord runs are pretty ridiculous on 6 string so I am still perplexed. Maybe someday ill figure it out.
