Really GASSING for a Gretsch

I have it narrowed down to a Jet 59 model or the Setzer Series....I know I want TV Jones pickups and a good Bigsby...

I've been all over Reverb, Ebay, and the common sites....Anywhere else I should look specifically? Or similar styled-guitars???

I know nothing about Gretsch. Once, a friend of mine brought his Duo Jet (I think with Filtertron PUs) and it really sounded amazing thru my 2203. Impressive, throaty, full of life ! And the guitar was surprisingly comfy to play given its size. Great fiddle !

Pulled the Trigger on a Gretsch G6129T-59....

It's a Pro Series Silver Sparkle Jet with TV Jones Classic pickups and all the good stuff I wanted except for locking tuners....

I ordered from Sweetwater and they hooked me up with a terrific price and will even install new locking tuners before shipment! Pretty nice...

They’re great guitars except those TV Jones pickups are notorious for having high end loss when rolling back the volume. I installed a treble bleed and it was better but still noticeable.

Thanks for the input....This one has a Treble Bleed circuit already, which, I hope, will help with that issue...

Thanks. That clip is pretty badass....I'll be using this with a Treble Boosted AC30 mostly....But i look forward to putting this through its paces...
