Oh, and not to mention his vocals!I remember hearing the opening lick for "Time to Burn" & my jaw dropped - same as the main solo.
Lots of Lynch & Timmons feel, but he does his own thing & does is SOOO cleanly.
He's a beast
I bet we crossed paths back in the day. I was in So Cal til 1995. Frequented the KNAC events & remember all the Mark & Brian days with KLOS. I lived in HB and other areas in Orange county. Frequented the Marquee quite often.when Giant's first album hit, the superstar morning DJs Mark and Brian at the big LA/socal radio station KLOS fell in love with the band, and "i'm a believer" and "i'll see you in my dreams" became the anthem cruising PCH in all of the major beach cities i frequented (Newport, Huntington, Laguna).
i remember vividly hearing those golden rack tones pouring out of convertibles cranking it in traffic and boom boxes on the sand thinking "i can't believe this shredding guitar with killer tone is pop music right now!" when Southern California was *it* for rock and metal!
