Reason SM50. Anyone have experience with one?

There is one local for a fair price. Curious if anyone here has experience with one?
 
Killer amps man. I had one for many years. If you intend on using the normal or bright channels, it really needs to be wound up to give up the goods. The master volume on the stack channel works very well though.

I’ve got one myself and I really like it. By far the cheapest keeper amp I’ve had lol. It’s admittedly for my taste a more processed sounding and very compressed amp (like Engl’s in that regard), but the voicing itself is so damn good! It has this awesome throaty growl on powerchords and some of the most pleasing, juiciest midrange voicing I’ve heard in any amp so far. Great feel and master volume as well, so you can get those sounds like that clip above even at quiet levels
 
Thanks guys. How well does it do modded Marahall ala VH to Alice in Chains without a boost?
 
It doesn't need a boost at all. It's already very high gain and compressed on the stacked mode (all I use on the amp). I don't actually like any of my boosts with it (chokes it out imo). I don't see it as being great for metal since it's not the tightest amp out there, but I think can do what you're asking
