Reb Beach says Kirk sucks

Kirk could buy him... so he's butthurt... honestly can't stand when famous musicians bash other musicians.... zero class, don't know anything about him or his playing, but fuck him.

I am by no means a Kirk fan either, felt the same about the Yngwie article posted a week or so ago (Or was that on HCAF)
 
Nothing new. Twenty year old feud between Metallica and Winger.
 
I thought that was funny. Yeah...the dart thing was just Metallica going with culture....Beavis and Buttram picking on poor Winger. I really don't know why Winger got dubbed by pop culture the posterband for taking out what was wrong with the hair metal scene? They didn't suck as musicians...It's not like they just teased their hair, yet had no musical talent.
 
LOL, he played in Winger! I'm sure he's a great guitar player, but his band SUCKS.

Sorry, I'm not a fan, but Winger far from sucks...I mean in terms of musicianship. Ah, I don't know,maybe their music sucks I don't own any of their CDs but...

I can't remember why, free ticket I suppose, but I saw them not too many years ago at the HOB in Cleveland and the band was super tight and the show was excellent. They can play. I only knew the "hits" because I'm 40.

Reb Beach is a monster, but what he apparently said about Hammett is weak, certainly a holdover from (as he mentioned) the dart-throwing bit in the video. That they blame a cartoon for the their demise is pretty lame. At least the guys from Ratt own up to the change in popular music (from what I saw on their recently-posted Behind the Music vid on RT) that ultimately caused the demise of the "glam" type scene at the time.
 
Ya, it was a bit over done, but he is right. Kirk is overrated, and could be replaced very easily.
 
Kirk is terrible, who the fuck cares how much money he has?

this is low class behavior PERIOD. Doesn't matter how you feel about someone, if he's a fellow musician, you should be classy enough to at least shut up and not say a thing.

Even though Kirk's much less talented than Reb, I prefer the solos on Ride the Lightning to anything I've ever heard from Winger, but that may only be two songs, so who knows? :D

The album he did with Dokken, Erase the Slate has some great guitar work on it.
