Reb Beach says Kirk sucks

I don't know the whole Winger/Metallica drama, not my thing, just adding to what a few others have said - Reb is as nice a dude as you could hope to meet (contrary to what I've read on music forums before...puzzling ), was the coolest "well-known" musician I've met in fact. If he was dissing Kirk, intentionally or in jest, I'd have to believe it's simply a reaction to something they've previously said about him...childish, yeah, but to each his own. I got to hang out with him once after a show here locally, he was extremely real and seemed as though he was an old personal long time friend. He treated me and my buddy to beer, several hours worth in fact, wouldn't let us pay for anything. Doug Aldrich was also super friendly and came off genuine as well but he did split pretty quickly (he was only drinking water FWIW).

Ha...Too funny. My favorite part is when he pretended not to be sure what band Kirk was actually in. What a joke...Weather you like Metallica or not, basically every rock, hard rock or metal guitar player knows who Kirk is. Reb...You are a member of fuckin' WINGER...just live with it, it's apparently the best that you can do at this moment...So just deal man, it's not that bad.

Not for nothing but Winger most certainly didnt suck. That band had tons of talent and great songs and were ruined not by metallica, but by beavis and butthead. you guys are funny. you sit here and bash kirk all day everyday, but when someone else does it...he is the asshole At least Reb says what he feels. Kirk does play out of tune and has shitty vibrato. it's a fact. What does that have to do with how much money he has? Kim Kardashian could buy Reb too, wtf does do that have to do with anything?

Kim could probably buy Kirk too Who knew Anal Bleaching would pay off like it did?

The way James and Lars run that ship, I would most definitely agree. I just didn't say it to avoid another thread of people crying for Kirk. Shit, if it were the anal bleaching I would have an appt for tomorrow....too bad I don't look like her...

I think Metallica are a bunch of jerks anyway amd Reb Beach is a jerk too,,,so there! I have yet to hear anything I like from Beach. At least Metallica wrote some good songs although I have grown out of metal as I have gotten older.

Reb was a studio guy. You probably heard a lot more from him that you liked than you know.

I really never thought i'd see people here "who have never heard of Reb".

We call people out on bullshit very often, I won't hold his opinion against him.

In all honesty though, Reb is a much better guitarist.

A bit classless but I don't disagree with some of what he say's. Kirk has a few really killer solo's but his vibrato is the worst I've heard from a 'famous' guitar player. He relies on pentatonic licks too much too imho but I think everyone agree's that he's a great guy who fits in well with one of the greatest metal bands of all time.
