I used the Egnater Rebel 30 at a gig this weekend. It outperformed my expectations! The cleans were punchy and bright and the gain channel was easily dialed in for the sound variety I needed for the show. I ran in through a Marshall 1936 Cabinet and mic'd it with a Shure SM57. I never had the amp's volume much past 9 o'clock, so there was lots of room if I needed it!
I received compliments from the bass player and drummer on my "much" improved sound. I have to agree that it dials in tones very nicely...plus the fact that it didn't kill my back lugging it to and from was a bonus.
Bottom line is this was the best $800 I have spent in a long, long time!
