Hey guys, have to let go of a lot of gear to pay some bills and am downsizing my rig considerably... Axe-2 and all my rack gear is headed out the door... gonna put together a very simple pedalboard and run with that for awhile...

The way I like to run my VH-4 is by using the switchable loop, and keep everything on... that way I can control everything with MIDI, and there is no tap dancing involved... however the VH-4's loop is parallel, so was curious what pedals have a setting like my Gmajor II's Kill Dry feature for running a very wet sound...

The only real factor here is cost, not looking to spend more than maybe a couple hundred per pedal, less if possible... the Eventide stuff looks great but it's just out of my price range, unless one pedal could do both jobs, I haven't looked into them much to be honest...

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

How does your GmajorII play with your VH-4 loop? Mine sucks in the Randall lynchbox (or conversely, the RAndall loop sucks) and that has pushed me to the wet/dry. If your loop is solid, why not go for a cheap midi changer like the tech 21 mouse and line up your 4-5 presets in a row. That ultimately will be cheaper than a new pedal board with 100$ pedals..

A Timefactor can certainly do chorus and delay through the mod delay. You turn off the delay and just adjust the modulation. Depending upon how much chorus tweaking you want it may/may not be for you though. I found it to work well for slight chorus to medium level chorus. I never tried it for high level or over the top chorus.

I would atleast check it out if I were you.
