Rectifier Sponginess? What 'chu think?

Hey all,

Playing around with my Theta Pro and really trying to ease out of my comfort zone, not musically (this time), but tonally. I might be picking up a Mesa Rectifier Recording Preamp this weekend, so I thought I would make some sounds with the Theta that have similar characteristics (having only ever owned the Formula Preamp and the Triaxis). Not really trying to 'match' tones per sae, but rather capture some of the sponginess, the big bottom, sizzly top, and wide spread mids...

I'm sure to those of you who actually own Rectifiers (or the Rec Preamp), I might be way off base, but this was fun anyway. Definitely changes how I play given the new parameters/characteristics I was attempting to duplicate.

At any rate, enjoy!

Sounds amazing!!! I have the MSX Theta (new black version). I'd love to have something like this built into a preset. Too bad it won't allow us to share presets!!!
