Gotoh Stealth tuners to reduce neck dive. Can see the quarter sawn grain too.

Congrats. I don’t think I’ve seen many 8 strings with a tremolo. Are those springs titanium reinforced?

Schecter makes great guitars , Not sure what to do with the extra 2 strings though.

Gotoh Stealth tuning machines. Super light and tiny. I've used them on a few guitars. They can only take so much tension, but I use 9s or 10s and it's fine. They are really nice to reduce weight on the headstock, which for an in-line 8-string headstock, you kinda need.

What kinds of stuff are you playing with those and which amp prefers what you are doing best? Not sure if that is even a real question but you get what I'm asking.

I play a all kinds of rock/metal stuff. Cantrell is my fav guitarist, probably, so a lot of my playing is kinda ripping him off. I have a '76 2204, '84 C+ DRG, and '93 Recto Rev F. All sound great. JMP needs a boost, but SD-1 gets the job done. Recto needs a high-pass filter to clear up the low end; VFE Standout does that. C+ needs nothing.

C+ probably is my least favorite. Don't know why, I just never feel like turning it on. Been using the Recto a lot lately.
