To each their own but I'm very happy with my Hermansson modded Recto. Henric sourced a 2013 MW Dual Rec for me in Sweden then did the mods and even with shipping and import fees, it was under $4k and it sounds absolutely insane. The best Recto I've ever played. Does that "Marshall meets Mesa" thing very well and is surprisingly versatile. Have him make Ch3 looser and Ch2 tighter, and get the "+" mod on Ch1 "Pushed." Honestly this amp can really do it all. Reminds me of a Cameron but even more versatile and tighter.

Well, there are less than 300 of these ever made. So, Rev C rectifiers ride on supply and demand, and everyday there are more people wanting one of there, but no more Rev C being made since 92.
Plus, once you play one that is in good shape and sounding healthy, you'll finally understand why people wants one so bad. Kind of like what happened to you when you finally got a Cameron, or your C+. Even knowing you didn't pay an exorbitant amount for them, now you know why people want them. Same with Rev C. Mine in particular? I've never hear a more pissed off and aggressive rectifier to this day. And I've owned and tried a whole lot of them.
For example... as expensive and as good a Larry Dino is, my Rev C is even more aggressive , way more pissed off and chugs way more than the Dino, the Camerons and pretty much right there with the Hermanssons. And I only paid $1600 for it, here at RT back in the day. Which was a ridiculous amount, since you could find a Rev G rectifier all day long for $800. But like things we don't own or like, we'll never get the reason why. I do. And you will too, once you get to try a really good Rev C. Doesn't mean you'll be willing to pay this money for it. But some people do.
One proof of how much people want them, is the fact that they keep buying Rev G rectifiers and sending to Mike B to convert it to Rev C. Same with people buying MK3 and converting them to 2C+. And them some of the same people say they don't understand why those amps are sought after or expensive. That's what I do not understand. lol
It's the same formula as everything else, that gets sought after and their prices shoots up way high. But we never get tired of questioning. Neither do we get tired of trying to explain it.
One other point I would like to make is, it looks like the seller is in Italy, correct? I don't think things are as overpriced there as they are in Brazil, but reality is that, Boogie products are way more expensive outside the US than they are here, for obvious reasons. So, I would imagine a Boogie amp, made here, that is already very hyped up in the US, would easily cost even more out there. So, the seller, who someone here mention is an honest person and great to deal with, might be getting bullied for no reason.

Yes my comment was more to let people know you're dealing with a great guy... I agree the pricing is high for what it's listed for.
But people will submit offers and then the dance starts from there.

If selling my RevC, I would try to shoot for something like 5k and would be very happy with 6k. But I doubt I would even get the 5k, but that`s just me.
