Hi guys! Here's my demo of the Red Seven Leviathan
Having played through every amp in their lineup I gotta say this is by far my favorite. Even though it shares some similarities with the Hybrid 100, the Leviathan has got something "extra" about it, hard to put my finger on it. It's got the perfect balance of chewyness under the fingers and precise attack, tons of gain on tap but never at the expense of note definition. The blue channel, although definitely high-gain, can clean up really well if you turn down the gain and turn up the channel volume. Does it get as clean and sparkly as the Hybrid 100 clean channel? No, but if you like a touch of grit in your cleans then this channel does the trick. When you engage the Hot mode you're in modded Marshall land right away. The red channel is super saturated but still punchy and defined, it has the ability to do insane high-gain but no matter how you set it, it's always usable. I've read someone online describing the Leviathan as a stiff amp to play, but that has not been my experience with it at all. In fact, my favorite thing about it is the feel under the fingers , just the right amount of give, super fun to play, but still immediate for tight rhythms. Hope you enjoy the video!
