Rediscovered White Lion!!

A buddy of mine made a CD for with some White Lion and I have heard them for a long time and now remember why I liked them so much!! Vito was such an amazing guitar player, his quick little runs and awesome solo's!!!! They might be a little foo foo for some of you but I'm totally digging the hell out of them all over again!!

I guess "more tasteful" is where my outrage stems from...

To me Eddie wrote far better music, at least until the effects of cocaine and alcohol removed his talent around '85 or so...

I'll partially agree with you. But not 100% You are correct though. Out of all the 80's guitar slingers, I think he was by far the closest to copping the EVH feel. Some of those off-the-cuff swing groove songs Bratta did (similar to EVH's I'm the One) had great feel, and I liked how he'd solo without rhythm guitar. He definitely had a loose feel
