I'm in Canada and it truly blows up here. Massive distances between everything. Very small community for any of the things you want to be involved in (guitars, guns, cars, bikes) and horrendous prices on EVERYTHING. But, I'm fortunate to have a little bit of this and that ONLY to busting my ass in very unpleasant environments for months on end that would make most into a puddle. ANYWAYS, I got a line on some cool high gain gear. Have a mint Two Rock rig a store up here (only 7 hours way!) is interested in trading pending a trip.

They've got Diezel, RedSeven, Mezzabarba, Engl, KSR all examples of each for sale/in stock to check out and see if we can make a deal. Going Monday. I've lurked and used the forum lots for "free info" for awhile, just wanted to say hello to all and finally create a profile and maybe even contribute down the road.

Diezel VH2 w/Diezel 2x12 cab
RedSeven Leviathan W/RedSeven 4x12 (both in CROC tolex!)
RedSeven Hybrid 100 (custom Cyberpunk tolex)
RedSeven Duality 100RS "Gulf" w/matching 4x12 (Porsche LeMans livery - closest I'll EVER come to owning a Porsche checking it out!)

All apparently there and available. Will be giving preference to matched head/cab sets. But wanting to give a quick test to heads I've never had the chance to hear.

Northerner guitars is sick-only dealer I’ve seen that gives 100% value trades- he’s let me trade towards custom ordered amps- as in custom ordered for me
 
That is a buffet worth the drive...just watch out for De-gens from up country, hangin' around the Tim Hortons.

Definitely try out the KSR stuff - if you're into the modern tone, I think those do it best
 
I am checked out on politics don't want to derail this thread BUT truly a morbid day in our history. My eyes glaze over when the topic comes up, I used to believe in something better now there is only LOUD and many years of clanging steel and blaring engines ringing in my ears. This trip to Northerner will be good. Sooooo many incredible setups. F-it I've got time, a few bucks, the Two Rock and I'm coming home with something cool. Made an error in judgement with the TR. I'm just getting back into playing after a looooong absence and thought it would suit me it's an amazing piece but lacks what I need that brutal, punishing CHUG, high gain searing fiery crushing gain and distortion. I forgot a few things but remember now one of my favourite amps back in the day was a Single Rectifier with EL34's. Good head. Loud, brutal. Looking to amp that up a notch. Keep it simple probably, two channel. I don't remember the last time I used a clean tone. But I will see what they sound like. The VH2 and Leviathan look super cool for 2 channels. Technology has changed a lot in 15 years with cab simulators and all this stuff I'm not familiar with the computer end at all. So looking for plug and play simplicity as well.
 
It's not a morbid day in our history..it's just ANOTHER day in our history. Honestly, I think Canadians need to sit down and look at what is controlled at the provincial level vs federal level. If they did, they'd probably find they hate both major parties equally 😆 It is what it is, keep on trucking. Happy gear hunting! Half the fun is in the search for tje gear. But yes, the market does suck up here.
 
If voting mattered they wouldn’t let us do it. But the Auditor General has reported 5 million fake SIN numbers detected in Canada which is all you need to cast a mail in ballot. Any country not totally subverted does away with mail in voting. Hmmmm, who could be behind such a nefarious action? It’s the illusion of choice that matters. The distraction. The circus. The brightening of the spotlights on centre stage and dimming them in the back so the owners don’t get noticed. Being convinced by age 13 that trading 45 years of your life working for mega-corp being totally compliant, obedient and diligent you’ll have 5 years left at the end (maybe) to do all the things you can no longer do and if you’re lucky you won’t be pissing your pants every five minutes. HONESTLY, I think we just need to stop paying. And pretty much all of these bizarre events, the outright robbery we face each minute, squandering the futures of our children and being sold further down the river by version after version of slick talking thief in a suit (that we pay for) they’d all stop. Just don’t show up. What are they going to do? Put a bullet in our skulls? WITHOUT OUR MONEY THEY ARE POWERLESS. It’ll be tough to sacrifice many of the comforts we enjoy. Most couldn’t imagine. After all, the playoffs are on…

Sounds like fun. I loved the vh2. The red sevens i havent tried. That tripple rec could be badass

Yeah, your access/availability to gear and that market isn't much different than MT U.S.A.. I buy/sell all my shit sight unseen off forums & Reverb.

It’s exactly like MT. Buy lots of stuff sight unseen so it was awesome to go see this stuff in person DIESEL VH2 FOR THE WIN VH2 FOR THE WIN!!!! Matching front loaded 2x12 Diezel cabinet along with it. Sounds so different from anything I’ve had before and that’s what I wanted. Incredible selection of amplifiers and guitars there no way I could try them all, even in a whole day.

Special note - a Mezzabarba Apocalypse WOW! Crazy! Gnarly! Offside! Another 2 channel amazing amplifier. Had a sound that was in a more familiar territory. Build quality and construction off the charts with this.

The RedSeven Leviathan was down for a tube issue couldn’t hear it. All the RedSeven stuff is gorgeous but was all three channel just wasn’t feeling 3 that day.

Didn’t get to KSR or Engl. The Diezel grabbed me right away. NEXT TIME!!! Thanks for coming along for the ride….

Northerner guitars is sick. Joel is a great guy, I have bought multiple amps and guitars from him.

Just a note on how stand up a guy he is - I got a custom ordered knaggs from him, and they botched the finish (did not match the pic). It was high quality, but different from what I requested - he kicked off another build from scratch and took this original guitar in as a stock guitar for his store , all without me even asking for it.
