Yeah, it’s pretty funny. I swear by the amp. You hear big differences between boosts as well. The a TC integrated preamp clone I’m using really makes the amps scream. I had a friend come over this last weekend and he couldn’t believe how good it sounded.

Have you tried running the line out of the RG100HT through a tube power amp? It smokes with a VHT 2150. I’d put it up against almost anything

Sorry to disappoint, but I’m actually playing a Randall RG100ES with a Pepers Dirty tree boosting it. No trickery, just guitar, pedal, amp and cab.

Thanks, that's totally bringing back my RG100ES GAS. I used top own a bunch of those heads, and they were the king when it came to metal chugs with a boost in front, I mean just listen to Crowbar or Pantera, or your clip.
