Reload as linear amp for BlendIR??

Hey.
I'm trying to do a capture of my 1x12 cabinet (made from plans on ax84.com).
But I'm needing a linear amp for doing the capture with blendir.
That got me thinking: The Reload is a reactive load, but it contains an amp - so as an attenuator it work by reamping.
So.... is the amp in the reload a linear amp, and would it be suitable to use as a linear amp for the capture??

Hello Anders,

the design of the Reload does not allow for using it as a regular power amplifier.

So either you use your tube amp (we do not recommend it but it can bring some interesting color to the mix) or buy an inexpensive amp such as the Behringer A500 which is good for that purpose.
