Reminder: Trump is Not a Politician

He's just a businessman who loves America.

Often I feel many need to be reminded of this. So much of the criticism he receives is predicated on the assumption that he is and ought to behave like one, but he's not a politician and has no intention of becoming one, if that makes sense.

Here you have a guy who loves his country and wants to see it get back-on-track. Personality traits and mannerisms have nothing to do with this core intention, nor can they be legitimately used to diminish this goal. The goal, after all, reigns supreme; it determines the direction in which the ship is steered.

Ronald McDonald could be at the helm and no passenger would be any the wiser or care as long as the cruise ship adhered to the journey specified in the leaflet.
