Still getting some sk0weif0_(UU*()jodcjslcjlx--u8876e rattle out of my Renegade! Some questions:

1. Is it possible to visually inspect a speaker in any way and see if it is blown? That's what I think it is, but it is intermittent so it is hard to tell.
2. Those metal covers for the tubes could be sources of vibration. What do they do? Do I need them?
3. Any suggestions? I have tightened up every screw I could see.

It is intermittent, and seems to only happen on certain frequencies, like the E note at the 9th fret on the G string.

 :( :scared:   :gethim:

Thanks!

tube or baffles
I have had friends have to resucure all the wood in their 212 renegades..

Well, it was doing it both before and after I retubed the amp, so not sure about that. Still- I removed the front nameplate, made sure all the tubes were tightly seated, and tightened up a few more screws.

That seems to have fixed it. I guess it isn't a speaker, which is good. We'll see.
