So when i power up my Renegade it sounds like the fan just kicks on really hard right away. Sounds like the thing is about to take off. After about 30 seconds to a 1 minute it seems to slow down. I wasnt sure if this is something that i should worry about? WIll it cause problems down the road? As of now its not really an issue because it slows down and the noise stops... Anyone have this issue or know if i should do something about it?

Search the forum. This has come up before. I think there is a quieter fan out there.

Hi Veets. The little fan in your Renegade is a piece of poo, they're made that way, what can you expect of a plastic fan made for next to nothing. If you're in the US Egnater will send you a new one, If you're in the UK like me, GUITAR GUITAR won't. If you want to fit a new one,

I'll show you how to fit one......and no you don't have to fit a blue one. It's a good idea to know how to replace them as they don't last that long sucking in dust. If the fan stops and you don't realize it, your amp will start to smell of hot dead amp, not good.
