Replace a dog ear P90 with a humbucker

I know some routing is needed, but will the humbucker manage to cover the P90 hole in length ? Anything else to consider ?
P.S. Please, no humbuckers in P90 form, I want a true humbucker !

P90's are wider than humbuckers.

I would try a mini bucker, like a Duncan, DiMarzio or a real Gibson. I have a DiMarzio Super D mini bucker in the neck position of one of my guitars and it sounds great.
