I am trying to rebuild a Pat Pend Black trem Wolfie that was damaged in a house fire (the body survived, but the neck did not)

Do you know of anyone who offers, or has, a replacement Peavey Wolfgang neck that would work out of the box?

Thanks!

they were discontinued in production back in 2005 which i believe was the last year, however if you're looking for a pat pending neck you'll have to go farther back than that to get one.

even then the wolfgang was not a parts to order guitar, if you're looking for a NOS neck it will have to come from another wolfie, otherwise you're going to have to make one through a company like warmoth using all of their loophole custom shenanigans that they offer.

I seriously doubt Warmoth would make that neck. I cant get them to make me a 24 fret neck for a Hamer...

Your best bet is finding an older neck on ebay, or you could sell the remaining pieces of your wolfy and use that money to pay for a new guitar.

I'm not necessarily looking for a Pat Pend version, just a non Special USA one with a trem....

im confused, you do know the necks on a non-special, a special, and the custom shop are the same profile and fretwire correct? the only difference was the hand-picked birdseye maple used for custom shop and archtop wolfies, and pearl tuners instead of the normal nickel plated on the specials.

if you need the trem + a high quality birdseye maple neck, just get a gotoh floyd with a brass block which is what the wolfgang trem was cheaply based off of, and have Scott Fletcher build your custom wolfie neck with the high birdseye count - especially if the pat-pending stamp does not matter :)

I think he means he needs a "standard" (tilted headstock) vs. "special" (non-tilted)...But that's just a guess   Scott Fletcher builds the tilted headstocks now but he also makes a "Frankenball" now too. Basically a frankenstein strat body and neck with ebmm evh neck specs and sculted neck joint/heel. I gotta get me one
