For the money and time you have in that you could have just bought an old Kramer and been done.

I like the neck, always wanted a scalloped one. Did the neck come like that or was it custom 'made'?

It wasn't meant to be a negative comment. I happen to own an old Kramer and its an awesome guitar. They also can be had for relatively cheap.

Fuck Yes!!!!! Sooooooo tired of (not referring to anyone in this post) cork sniffers. People chasing the "Brown Sound" from there hero EVH. Start with what Ed did, a slopped together piece of shit guitar. Your guitar looks great and I bet that fucker rips!!!!!

Thanks all! The whole thing cost me £270 so around $350. Neck was bought and then scalloped, everything was done using fairly cheap materials.

I could of bought an old Kramer....but I didn't, I have a unique guitar built perfectly to my spec.

Ed's guitar wasn't really a piece of shit when it started life. He basically used left over pieces that he got a deal on from what pretty much became Warmoth. He then put in an original Floyd and a PAF. He didn't know what the fuck he was doing, so HE made it a piece of shit by hacking it up and assembling it incorrectly. True, he painted it with shit paint, but once again that is because he didnt know how to finish a guitar. He didn't know how to wire it correctly so he just put in the lead pickup. Parts were good though. Body, neck, bridge, tuners, pickup...all good stuff. He should have just had Wayne or Lynn put it together...lol. It took Tom Anderson to fix the placement of the bridge to get it to intonate.
