....and after a few replies, I got this in a reply as a footer. Should I be scared?

Colossians 2:6, 7 NIV

"So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness."

Just seemed odd he would all of a sudden add that to our email correspondence.

Eh, just get the cab, delete the emails and you'll never have to talk to him again.

Ezekiel 25:17
The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

Of course.
I have nothing against religion...a few of my friends are Christmas's.

Man, I bought some gear from a total Jesus freak once. Craigslist ad and really good prices but even in the ad itself he was noting religious things. When I contacted him about the stuff, he would send me a reply that would end up trailing off into a personal story about something going on at his church and how I should come check it out etc. Then came the day to meet up. I had to meet him at the church, when I walked in, his church band was jamming and the singer came over to me mid song and was singing basically TO me which was awkward as hell, then when they stopped the guy gave me the gear and then proceeded to bless the stuff before asking me if satanic music would be played on the gear. I lied of course because I play a lot of Megadeth and 80s thrash haha. Then he and other band members started trying to get me to come back for a service of some sort. I said I might but didn't. Got out of there fast with the stuff. Then I received emails daily from this guy asking me to come play in the church band. I eventually had to block his email.

The point here is, if the deal is good, get in, get gear, get out :)

You see, you're just making me want to forget about the whole thing.

My advice, bring a friend or if you have kids, bring them and just say you have to be quick because you are on your way to (insert family activity here). I always bring my son with me when I am buying from people on craigslist haha or my wife or a band member etc. Get in, do the exchange, go enjoy the gear.

On a side note, this plan works in bars, also.

I think he meant...

Coliseum 6L6, 300w MB

"So then, just as you received Mesa Boogie as Tone Lord, continue to rock your lives in him, balls to the wall and metal as phuck through him, strengthened in the tone as you were taught, and overflowing with searing leads."

You know what would be tragically funny? You pass him off as a nut job, fast forward 50 years when you drop dead and appear at heavens gate
"Sorry sir...we did send our best people to recruit you, but you walked out"

One day Scott Splawn will be at heaven's gate. Anyone that ever sold a Quick Rod due to "weird mids" is f**ked.

That reminds me of the line in Braveheart, most everything reminds me of a line in Braveheart, where the Irish guy said he talked to God and God said he'd make it through the battle but the rest of you are fucked. Classic.

LOL!!

I picked up the cab, he was a good guy. He mentioned church a bit, but didn't try to recruit me....phew

It had Mesa MC90 speakers in it. I like them, but I am going for the Greenback/Marshall tone.
Put a pair of low watt Weber Legacy's in...it's gonna rock.
