Hey Peter l. I use driftwoods loadbox. It’s the Best I’ve heard for sure, to me anyways. It’s quite a pet peeve of mine about how different load boxes don’t get put under the microscope like other pieces of gear, because they are for sure not all the same. The driftwood has all the low end of a “real” 4x12 thanks to the impedence curve and the sharp resonant bump around 90-120hz, like a 4x12 has. Two notes and some others do not, which is why they sound and feel so different many times.

Not bad pricing wise either, I think it’s about 350 bucks.

I thought the Recto and the Riffage sounded killer, I like the sag of a Recto on somethings but the Maxon tightens it just enough.

I would consider the st rock loadbox or the driftwood if I were you, no doubt either of those gets my vote! The st rock sounds absolutely killer as well, and has a ton of really great features as well.

Teh st. rock loads looks very cool but are not available until February :/ will look into the driftwood
