Hey guys!
Always appreciate the help and tips I get on here.
I play through a JCM2000 and I use the reverb on the clean channel(its a must for me, lol). I placed the amp on standby for 5 minutes then back on again and now the reverb is gone. I checked the tubes which are a month old now and they are good after checking. Any ideas why this happened all of a sudden?
Thanks everyone and I appreciate all comments and suggestions(just don't suggest I get another amp, I am broke right now, lol).

My reverb pan shorted out on my DSL100 after a while for no reason. I had to buy a cheap replacement by I think the company was ModTone or something like that. The pan was around $20 and was the exact specs of the original. There are some tutorials online on how to diagnose a reverb pan.

Yep, definite reverb tank issue.

I'm not aware of the reverb being tube driven, so I doubt it's that. V1 and V2 are the gain stages, V3 is a cathode follower (tone controls) and V4 is the phase inverter. I'll happily stand corrected on that though if need be!

Things to check:
- check the cables coming off the tank for damage. I had to replace mine a few times, the heat seems to demolish them over time.
- Check the tank itself for obvious damage or corrosion. One of my DSL100s had a lot of gnarly green corrosion which required a good cleanup.

If you just need a straight-up replacement, I paid £40 for an official Marshall replacement on two occasions (different amps - both TSL100s). I did try one of those mod tone replacements on one of my DSL100s and it just sounded a little shit compared to the proper Marshall one. I'm in the UK so should be able to source one for you if you need it.

Also, mega hint.
Get the best tube you can afford for V1, put a 12AT7 in V4. The easiest and most effective way to get a lot out of the JCM2000s. I've been using them since they came out, currently on my 9th time of owning the TSL100. And the first time I've owned a blue-tolex TSL100. I'm damn well KEEPING this one!

Thanks guys! I will check the cables first then the replace the tank if ne.thanks forfor the tips on the preamp tubes too! I will try them out!
Thanks!

I have had two DSL reverbs go bad on me. Both times it was the cable. they are just standard RCA type cables.
