Nice looking guitars! And glad to hear they are like the old ones! The Strat style headstock helps too.
BUT, only cheap guitars don't come with a nice hard case to protect it in shipping. WTF? Add $80 to the cost and throw in a nice case. A gig bag is useless to me!

Any dealer should be able to add $80 to the price and include a hard case. It wouldn't be one of the nice USA Jackson style cases though. Cost on those before shipping is more than $80.
Anyone want one of the Tele styles? Pre-orders on that style have been a bit lukewarm.

They have that available. Unfortunately, it's only from the Custom Shop And at more than double the price of these. There have been a lot of rumors about next colors and white has not been mentioned by anyone. I hope they do white because it will be very popular. The ebony fingerboard on the other hand will be highly unlikely IMHO. I have owned tons of old Charvels and ebony was by far the least used fretboard wood they used.
And "San Dimas Charvel" is almost synonymous with an all maple neck so for the "masses" they picked the right neck wood.
