I just thought I would share a picture of my revised pedal board. I got the EP Booster and the Custom Badass Modified OD for Christmas. The MXR replaced a Hardwire CM2. I wanted to give it a test drive and so far I have not been disappointed. It sounded great running into the front of my modded VH100R. I really like the bump feature as well. As far as the EP Booster is concerned......all the hype is dead on! I only keep the knob around 9:00-10:00 and it really fattens the sound; makes it sound fuller. I can see why people refer to it as the "always on" pedal. The interface was built by Cason Hanson at Fallout Labs. Underneath is a DC Brick for power. I use the interface in order to run pedals out front and in the loop of the VH100R.
As far as the board is concerned, the signal path is:
Guitar -> Interface (input) -> TU2 -> Plextoration (only used a a back-up dirt pedal) -> MXR OD -> EP Booster -> NS-2 -> Interface (amp) -> amp input
Loop: Amp FX send -> Interface (FX send) -> MXR EQ -> Hardwire CR7 -> TC Flashback -> Interface (FX return) -> amp FX return
It's a simple board that supplies everything I need tonally.
